Responsibilities

·         Design scalable, robust, and secure e-commerce solutions using Oracle ATG Web Commerce.

·         Develop architectural blueprints and technical specifications to support business requirements.

·         Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.

·         Lead the development team in coding, testing, and deploying ATG-based applications.

·         Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including code reviews and testing.

·         Oversee the integration of ATG applications with other systems such as ERP, CRM, and payment gateways.

·         Ensure client requirements are met and technical integration is achieved for developed code of web site implementations.

·         Work closely with the Business Analyst and QA teams to build, test and release developed code for web site implementations.

·         Implement caching, load balancing, and other performance optimization techniques.

·         Provide technical direction and ensure that development activities align with the overall project goals and architecture.

·         Ensure ongoing maintenance and support for ATG applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.

·         Communicate status and identify issues affecting ability to complete tasks inatimely manner.

·         Participate in application release deployments.

·         Troubleshoot and resolve issues, problems, and errors encountered across website implementations.

·         Maintain technical knowledge of JAVA and Oracle ATG Web Commerce industry standards, best practices and trends.

Candidate requirements

·         Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems , or a related field preferred

·         Very good experience in dealing with large scale enterprise applications preferably in e - commerce domain.

·         Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years focused on Oracle ATG Web Commerce.

·         Strong understanding of e-commerce principles and best practices.

·         Proficiency in Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, and other web technologies.

·         Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server.

·         Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.

·         Familiarity with web services (REST/SOAP) and microservices architecture.

·         Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail..

·         Demonstrated experience in application design for web applications.

·         Demonstrated ability to support multiple concurrent efforts.

·         Ability to balance delivery speed with high-quality software deliverables.

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills.

·         Able to communicate with technical resources and business clients.

·         .Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
