Job Description

Responsibilities:

Design and develop advanced Android applications using Kotlin.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices are followed.

Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Mobile App Android Developer with expertise in Kotlin.

Strong understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.

Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

Familiarity with continuous integration.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Proficient in Gitlab for version control, employing features such as branching, pull

requests, and code reviews to streamline collaborative development.

Utilized Google Analytics and Firebase for thorough application data analysis.

Skilled in seamless RESTful API integration, utilizing advanced JSON parsing

techniques and leveraging Swift's Codable protocol to ensure optimal data handling

in Android applications.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Android Jetpack components.

Knowledge of RxJava, Dagger, Retrofit, or other relevant libraries.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks
