Company & Position Summary

 The Financial Planning Analyst will support the VP of Financial Operations in two primary areas:

1.  Forecast Division financial operations, Company Cash Flow, and Land Acquisition financial results.
2. Preparation and analysis of operational reports.

Principal Duties & Accountabilities

• Financial and Inventory forecasting at the community, division, and company level
• Preparation and analysis of cash flow to include historical and future spending for homes under construction and overhead expenses
•  Land acquisition financial analysis
• Reporting on items such as future land acquisitions and inventory homes
• Monitoring housing margins
• Consulting on division capital allocations, cash flow, sales volume, product pricing and production costs, overhead and capital expenditures

Education Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree required in either Accounting or Finance.

Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• At least 3 years of professional experience responsible for financial analysis in a real estate company.
• Advanced EXCEL experience and exposure to Essbase and BRIX is highly desirable.
• Adaptive and resilient interpersonal skills to deal with a broad spectrum of personnel.
