Company & Position Summary
The Financial Planning Analyst will support the VP of Financial Operations in two primary areas:
- Forecast Division financial operations, Company Cash Flow, and Land Acquisition financial results.
- Preparation and analysis of operational reports.
Principal Duties & Accountabilities
- Financial and Inventory forecasting at the community, division, and company level
- Preparation and analysis of cash flow to include historical and future spending for homes under construction and overhead expenses
- Land acquisition financial analysis
- Reporting on items such as future land acquisitions and inventory homes
- Monitoring housing margins
- Consulting on division capital allocations, cash flow, sales volume, product pricing and production costs, overhead and capital expenditures
Education Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree required in either Accounting or Finance.
Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience responsible for financial analysis in a real estate company.
- Advanced EXCEL experience and exposure to Essbase and BRIX is highly desirable.
- Adaptive and resilient interpersonal skills to deal with a broad spectrum of personnel.
- Accepts accountability and autonomy willingly.
