Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and driven Area Sales Executive to join our team at Gemini Solariss. This is a full-time position based in Chennai, Salem, or Hosur. As an essential part of our growing sales team, you will be responsible for expanding our customer base, building client relationships, and driving solar project sales in your assigned territory.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven ability in lead generation to efficiently identify and initiate contact with prospective customers (Mandatory skill).
- Demonstrated competency managing a sales pipeline from initial inquiry to closure, ensuring consistent follow-up and conversion (Mandatory skill).
- Experience in performing in-depth market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities in the solar sector.
- Capability to deliver persuasive technical presentations tailored to various audiences, explaining solar solutions and benefits to clients clearly.
- Proficiency in conducting detailed site assessments and evaluating client requirements to recommend optimal solar solutions.
- Strong skills in compiling accurate sales reports and analytics to provide visibility into performance metrics, targets, and forecasting.
- Outstanding negotiation skills to facilitate successful deal closures and foster lasting client partnerships with B2C environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach and the ability to build trust with diverse client segments.
- Ability to travel locally within the assigned region as required by field sales activities and client meetings.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify and generate leads within the assigned territory to grow the company’s customer base in residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
- Manage and maintain an organized sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups, opportunity tracking, and effective sales closure.
- Conduct thorough market research to understand local demand, competition, and emerging client needs in solar energy solutions.
- Deliver compelling technical presentations and proposals to clients, highlighting the benefits and value proposition of Gemini Solariss’ solutions.
- Perform on-site assessments and collaborate with technical teams to determine project feasibility and recommend suitable solutions.
- Prepare and maintain up-to-date sales reports, forecasts, and documentation to inform management and refine sales strategies.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with prospective clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction and win-win outcomes.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with both new and existing clients to maximize customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including installation and support, to ensure timely and successful project execution.
