Job Overview
We are seeking a mid-level UPS Service Manager for a full-time position located in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam. The ideal candidate should possess between 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. This role requires handling various tasks related to the maintenance and management of uninterruptible power supply systems.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in UPS systems service and support.
- Proficiency in power systems and electrical circuits required to efficiently troubleshoot complex issues.
- Expertise in preventive maintenance to ensure UPS systems operate effectively and efficiently.
- In-depth knowledge of uninterruptible power supply systems to enhance operational reliability.
- Ability to conduct troubleshooting activities to resolve system faults and malfunctions.
- Must have skills in electrical safety to uphold and comply with safety protocols and standards (Mandatory skill).
- Experience with battery management systems and techniques for maintaining battery health (Mandatory skill).
- Competence in remote monitoring to oversee UPS performance and operational status (Mandatory skill).
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the service and support functions for uninterruptible power supply systems in designated regions.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose UPS system faults efficiently to ensure prompt repairs and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations to maintain safe working environments.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and service personnel.
- Coordinate with customers to understand service requirements and deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Monitor system performance using remote monitoring tools to preemptively address potential issues.
- Document service activities, prepare reports, and maintain records for continuous improvement.
