Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Textile Designer with a work experience of 1 to 3 years for a full-time position in Hyderabad. The candidate will be responsible for utilizing their artistic and technical skills to create innovative textiles designs, working closely with marketing and production teams to execute trends effectively.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in textile design with a minimum of 1-year professional experience.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop to enhance and manipulate textile design elements.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator for the creation of vector graphics and patterns.
• Skilled in surface pattern design to create seamless and intricate designs.
• Deep knowledge of textile printing techniques (Mandatory skill) for effective pattern transfers.
• Strong trend analysis capability (Mandatory skill) to forecast and design according to market demands.
• Extensive fabric knowledge (Mandatory skill) to select appropriate materials for designs.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders effectively.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Create original textile designs and develop new concepts in alignment with current trends.
• Collaborate with the product development team to ensure that designs align with production capabilities.
• Assist in collecting and analyzing market trend reports and adapt designs accordingly.
• Maintain an organized library of fabric swatches, trims, and design materials.
• Participate in meetings to discuss new ideas and design solutions.
• Apply printing techniques efficiently to achieve desired designs on textiles.
• Review prototypes and make recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure that all designs meet the company’s quality and aesthetic standards.
