Job Overview
The Sales Manager – Lubricants will assume a mid-level role, responsible for driving sales and managing client relationships within the lubricant sector. The position is based in Rajahmundry and Hyderabad, and requires full-time commitment. Candidates should possess a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 6 years of relevant work experience in sales, particularly within the lubricants segment.
Qualifications and Skills
- B2B Sales (Mandatory skill): Demonstrated ability to manage business-to-business sales cycles from prospecting to closing deals in the lubricants sector.
- Negotiation (Mandatory skill): Strong negotiation skills paired with a proven record of securing optimal commercial agreements and terms with clients.
- Lubricant sales (Mandatory skill): In-depth hands-on expertise in lubricant product sales and customer engagement within the applicable industry segments.
- Product Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of lubricant products, including technical specifications and competitive advantages for effective client communication.
- Lead Generation: Proficiency in identifying, targeting, and qualifying leads, including the use of digital tools and conventional outreach strategies for pipeline growth.
- Sales Forecasting: Ability to use historical data and market trends to develop accurate sales forecasts and help achieve business targets.
- Pricing Strategy: Experience in formulating and executing pricing strategies to maximize margins and remain competitive in the market.
- Client Relationship Management: Skillful in fostering long-lasting relationships with key accounts through consistent service and tailored solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Drive lubricant sales by developing and executing strategic plans tailored to meet and exceed sales targets for the assigned territories of Rajahmundry and Hyderabad.
- Identify new business opportunities by targeting potential B2B clients, conducting market research, and expanding the existing customer base.
- Use negotiation expertise to secure profitable deals and establish long-term partnerships with clients and distributors in the lubricant industry.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure prompt delivery, efficient after-sales service, and high-level customer satisfaction for all clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings; provide technical guidance to clients for application and product selection.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for business development and differentiation.
- Manage and analyze the sales pipeline, deliver accurate sales forecasts, and report progress regularly to upper management.
- Implement pricing policies in alignment with company strategies and adapt based on market movement and client negotiations.
- Deliver regular sales activity reports, market insights, and recommendations for business growth and process improvements.
