We are seeking a dedicated Purchase Executive to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. This is a full-time position at the junior level, ideal for candidates with 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience. As a Purchase Executive, you will play a vital role in managing procurement processes and ensuring efficient purchase order processing.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in procurement and purchasing processes, with demonstrated experience in managing purchase orders (Mandatory skill).
- Hands-on experience with SAP MM for effective materials management and procurement processing (Mandatory skill).
- Ability to manage vendors effectively, including assessing performance and ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Strong negotiation skills for securing favorable terms with suppliers and vendors to meet organizational goals.
- Expertise in cost analysis to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities within the procurement process.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills, ensuring accurate procurement records.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve procurement objectives efficiently.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute all activities related to the procurement of goods and services necessary for the daily operation of the organization.
- Liaise with suppliers and negotiate terms of contracts and maintain vendor relationships to ensure stability and compliance.
- Develop, maintain, and review purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs and fulfill them promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records by updating inventory and procurement documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Resolve supply chain challenges and issues with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
- Review and analyze purchasing department budgets and take appropriate steps to manage costs effectively.
