Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and driven Junior Lighting Designer to join our team in Hyderabad. This is a full-time role that requires a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 3 years of work experience in lighting design. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in lighting design applications and software.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in lighting design using Revit and Dialux along with lighting design (Mandatory skill).
• Competence in utilizing AutoCAD for drafting and design processes related to lighting projects.
• Experience in creating accurate 3D models and renderings to visualize lighting layouts efficiently.
• Capability in conducting detailed illumination calculations to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Hands-on experience in SketchUp to develop and modify designs for lighting applications.
• An eye for detail and creativity to produce aesthetically pleasing and functional lighting solutions.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt designs to meet specific client needs and project constraints.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and create lighting design plans and prototypes using software applications like Revit, Dialux, and AutoCAD.
• Collaborate closely with architects and project managers to ensure designs meet project objectives and client requirements.
• Conduct comprehensive illumination calculations to evaluate and enhance the quality of lighting in various environments.
• Produce detailed documentation and technical specifications for each project, ensuring clarity and precision.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and emerging technologies in lighting design to bring innovative solutions to projects.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Provide technical advice and recommendations to clients regarding materials, designs, and lighting solutions.
• Participate in site visits to better understand spatial constraints and verify on-site installations and designs.
