We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Interior Designer specializing in Modular Furniture for a full-time, mid-level position in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of relevant experience, demonstrated expertise in modular furniture design, and the creativity to deliver exceptional interior solutions tailored to diverse client requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in modular furniture design with a minimum of 4 years working in the field, showcasing a strong design portfolio.
• Proficiency in Material Selection (Mandatory skill), demonstrating the ability to select the right materials for aesthetic appeal, durability, and budget adherence.
• Strong expertise in AutoCAD (Mandatory skill) to develop detailed 2D and 3D design layouts as per project needs.
• Exceptional Client Consultation abilities (Mandatory skill) for understanding requirements, conducting needs analysis, and ensuring high satisfaction levels throughout.
• Advanced knowledge of SketchUp for creating and visualizing creative, client-approved modular design concepts for interior spaces.
• Proficiency in Revit to efficiently generate and modify technical drawings and maintain project documentation for modular furniture installations.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including architects, vendors, and contractors to deliver seamless design implementation.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills needed to handle multiple projects while adhering to deadlines and specifications.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare, design, and deliver functional and visually appealing modular furniture layouts for residential and commercial interiors, adhering to client preferences and industry standards.
• Lead the entire design process from initial client consultation to site supervision, ensuring accurate determination and translation of client vision into innovative design solutions.
• Utilize AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit software to develop detailed elevations, sections, and 3D renderings for client presentations and contractor reference.
• Select appropriate materials and finishes for all furnishings and interior elements while staying updated with the latest trends and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure seamless project execution, timely delivery, and quality assurance for all modular furniture installations.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback and direction to vendors and craftsmen, overseeing the detailing and production of modular elements as per design intent.
• Maintain thorough project documentation, including specifications, procurement lists, and progress reports, to facilitate communication with stakeholders.
• Conduct periodic site visits to monitor installation, resolve design issues, and address any on-site challenges to deliver premium client satisfaction.
