Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated expertise in fabric sourcing to secure high-quality materials for diverse fashion projects (Mandatory skill).
• Experience in pattern making, capable of transforming design sketches into tangible patterns that effectively communicate design intent (Mandatory skill).
• Proficiency in fashion illustration to accurately represent fashion designs through detailed and creative sketches and visuals (Mandatory skill).
• Skilled in CAD design for creating precise digital designs as part of the modern fashion design process.
• Experience in portfolio development, showcasing a range of fashion design projects to highlight versatility and individual style.
• Capable of visual merchandising, with the ability to create enticing visual displays that effectively market fashion products and brand stories.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and present design ideas clearly and persuasively.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop fashion collections that align with brand aesthetics and current market trends.
• Conduct fabric and material sourcing to find innovative and high-quality textiles for design projects.
• Create detailed fashion illustrations and artwork to communicate design concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop patterns and prototypes for original clothing designs, ensuring precision in measurements and details.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure design viability and timely execution of collections.
• Assist in the organization and execution of fashion shows, including model fittings and garment presentation.
• Maintain a strong awareness of the fashion industry, including trends, consumer preferences, and competitive analysis.
• Prepare and maintain a comprehensive design portfolio to document and showcase various projects and achievements.
