Responsibilities:

● Design, implement, and maintain OpenShift clusters that support the development and deployment of applications.

● Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications deployed on OpenShift.

● Work with application developers to ensure that their applications are optimized for deployment on OpenShift.

● Manage and monitor the health and performance of OpenShift clusters and CICD pipelines.

● Configure and maintain the infrastructure and network components required for OpenShift.

● Implement and maintain security controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of OpenShift clusters and the applications deployed on them.

● Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OpenShift clusters and the applications deployed on them.

● Stay up-to-date with the latest features and functionality of OpenShift and provide recommendations for improvements to the platform.

● Automate tasks and processes related to the management of OpenShift clusters and CICD pipelines using Infrastructure as Code (IAAC), Cutting Edge Configuration Management Frameworks.

● Document and communicate technical information to team members and stakeholders. 

● Provide training and support to application developers on how to deploy and manage applications on OpenShift.

● Collaborate with other members of the IT team to integrate OpenShift with other systems and services.

Qualifications:

● Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.

● Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.

● Experience with Linux system administration and networking.

● Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.

● Strong understanding of CI/CD principles, Infrastructure as Code, Security, and Best

practices.

● Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.

● Excellent communication and documentation skills.

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes.

• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.

• Experience with cloud computing platforms with AWS.
