Job Summary:

Fortran Steel Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Wire Plant Manager cum Sales Manager. This dual role will require you to oversee the operations of our wire plant while also taking charge of the sales and business development activities. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in steel manufacturing, wire production, and a proven track record in sales and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

Plant Management Responsibilities:

1. Manage day-to-day operations of the wire plant, including production scheduling, quality control, and workforce management.
2. Ensure production targets are met, and production processes are optimized for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
3. Implement and maintain safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
4. Oversee equipment maintenance and troubleshoot any technical issues as they arise.
5. Collaborate with the procurement department to ensure a consistent supply of raw materials.
6. Monitor and control production budgets to ensure cost-effective operations.
7. Continuously identify areas for process improvement and implement appropriate changes.

Sales Management Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities.
3. Identify and target potential customers to expand the customer base and sales reach.
4. Lead the sales team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
5. Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
6. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies.
7. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
2. Proven experience in wire manufacturing and plant management in the steel industry.
3. Strong sales and business development experience, preferably in the steel or manufacturing sector.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
5. Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop sales strategies.
6. Knowledge of quality standards and safety regulations in the steel manufacturing industry.
7. Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
8. Willingness to work in a dynamic, challenging environment.
