Our client, Global Data & Analytics firm is looking for Senior Director for the BFSI Analytics Practice.

The ideal candidate will have 17 to 22 years of experience in analytics, data science, and project management. This role requires a deep understanding of analytics frameworks, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to deliver high-impact solutions that drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Strategy: o Develop and execute the analytics delivery strategy in alignment with the company's overall business objectives. o Lead, mentor, and manage a team of analytics professionals, ensuring they have the tools, guidance, and support needed to succeed. o Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to integrate analytics into business processes.

• Project Delivery: o Oversee the end-to-end delivery of analytics projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. o Drive the development and implementation of advanced analytics models, including predictive analytics, machine learning, and AI. o Ensure the delivery of actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and business leaders.

• Client & Stakeholder Management: o Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their needs and ensuring that analytics projects align with business goals. o Present complex analytical findings and strategies to executive leadership in a clear, concise manner. o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on analytics delivery, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns or challenges.

• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: o Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in analytics and data science. o Foster a culture of innovation within the analytics team, encouraging the exploration of new tools and methodologies. o Continuously assess and improve analytics processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and impact.

• Risk Management & Compliance: o Ensure that all analytics projects comply with relevant data privacy and security regulations. o Identify and mitigate risks related to analytics delivery, including data quality, project timelines, and resource allocation.

Qualifications:

• Experience: o 17 to 22 years of experience in analytics, data science, in BFSI industry, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.

o Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale analytics projects in a fast paced environment.

o Experience in managing large teams.

• Skills: o Deep understanding of analytics frameworks, methodologies, and tools such as SQL, Python, R, SAS, and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

o Strong project management skills with experience in Agile and other project management methodologies.

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

o Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business challenges into actionable analytics solutions.

Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in implementing and scaling AI/ML solutions.

• Certification in relevant project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile)
