Purpose of the Job (Main Objective):
He/She should be a self-starter and should be willing to undergo training, if need be, to understand the operations of new equipment. He/She should take care of all machine-specific functions such as configuring the equipment, loading and operating the machines, and optimizing the machine capability. They need to ensure that the machine works at its full capacity, oversee its maintenance, and perform timely quality checks.
Deliverables / Key Responsibilities: Primary Responsibilities
Setup the production equipment and supplies before executing the job orders.
Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing.
Ensure that equipment is maintained in good and safe working condition.
Inspect equipment to identify any replacements, malfunctions and repairs.
Perform regular equipment maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality.
Provide assistance to support staffs in their assigned responsibilities. Repair and clean the equipment when needed.
Work under the guidance of Supervisor to perform and complete the assigned duties in timely manner.
Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements.
Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
Ensure completion of Daily Production plan given by PPC Department.
Ensure Good quality of output to avoid customer complaints.
Contribute to reduction of wastage and Internal rejections.
Identify and report unsafe operations to Supervisor immediately.
Maintain the work area clean, safe and organized.
Secondary Responsibilities
Assist Asst. Production Manager & Operations Manager in any activities or tasks being assigned. Specific Job Requirements:
Excellent communication, numeracy and computer literacy skills.
Good people management skills and management of staff.
Identifying problems and implement preventative strategies to minimise risk.
Being able to develop good working relationships and trust with various teams.
Always keeping the end-user/customer in mind.
Being results and deadline-driven.
