Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C#, enabling you to write effective automated tests.
• Understanding of software development and testing methodologies, including Agile and Scrum techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex scenarios and provide innovative solutions.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or JUnit to create robust test scripts.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively within diverse development teams.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab to integrate automated tests in pipelines.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies in software testing.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and identify potential testing challenges.
• Perform thorough regression testing to validate new and existing features across various platforms.
• Identify and report software defects clearly and consistently, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Contribute to the improvement and evolution of automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality and consistency of automated test scripts.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of test environments to support continuous testing initiatives.
• Document test plans, test cases, and test results to provide clear visibility into the testing process.
