Job Overview

The Lead App Development position is a senior-level, full-time role based in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience, and will be responsible for guiding mobile app development initiatives, leading cross-functional teams, and driving technology strategy within the organization.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven expertise in Mobile App Development, with a track record of successfully delivered projects in various environments and platforms.
• Demonstrated experience in Cross-Functional Team Leadership, including mentoring developers and collaborating with designers and product managers.
• Advanced understanding of DevOps practices, with hands-on experience optimizing CI/CD pipelines and deploying scalable mobile solutions.
• Extensive knowledge in Cloud Computing for mobile applications, with practical experience in using cloud platforms for app hosting and data management.
• Strong proficiency in API Design, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems and third-party services while maintaining security and performance.
• Solid grasp of Microservices Architecture, with the capability to break down large applications into manageable, independent services for scalability and maintainability.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, articulating complex concepts clearly in both written and verbal formats.
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Agile Methodologies (Mandatory skill), driving iterative development, fostering continuous feedback, and improving team performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end mobile app development initiatives aligned to organizational objectives, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable applications.
• Guide and mentor development teams by providing technical direction, code reviews, and management of best development practices.
• Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions that align with strategic goals.
• Design and implement APIs to support seamless integration with backend services and external partners, adhering to industry security standards.
• Develop and enforce DevOps processes for seamless deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of mobile applications in diverse environments.
• Architect and implement microservices to support the scalability and flexibility of evolving mobile platforms.
• Stay informed of emerging trends in mobile app development, cloud computing, and microservices, and recommend innovative solutions to drive transformation and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with organization policies, including privacy, data security, and solution architecture standards, throughout the application lifecycle.
