Title - Sr. Dot Net and Azure APIM Developer

Location: 100% Remote (Anywhere from India)

Client is seeking a talented Platform Sr. Developer to push Global Azure API Management Platform (APIM) and other Global Enterprise Applications written primarily in Dot Net. As an ideal candidate, you will have deep focus on best practices and implementation for Azure APIM platform and Enterprise applications such as enterprise login form.. You will also participate in hands on technical POC’s and evaluations of prospective new technologies to accelerate development of secure, scalable and robust enterprise scale applications.

Responsibilities

· Design, develop, enhance, release common set of application components written primarily in Dot Net

· Partner with Platform Architect, formulate and evolve the APIM Platform strategy, architecture vision and roadmap with technology partners, architects, and peers

· Develop prototypes (POCs) for technology deployments to help assess the fitness for purpose of potential solutions working in conjunction with enterprise architects, delivery teams, and business stakeholders

· Guide, mentor, and coach junior software developers

· Maintain standards & principles and support the relevant governance frameworks

· Ensure adequate risk management of IT assets through appropriate standards and security policies

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience

· Experience in designing solutions using variety of modern technologies: .NET/C#, Microsoft Database technologies, Azure API Management, Rest APIs, GraphQL, Soap/WCF Services etc.

· Minimum of 8 years of design and implementation experience in IT, with a deep knowledge in Dot Net application development, API development & Management, middleware, database management, and building & managing cloud-based highly scalable solutions

· Experience of full API life-cycle management (security, policy configuration etc.) using Microsoft Azure APIM and strong knowledge of various API design patterns

· Demonstrated track record of contributing to technology and solution decisions (vendor/technology selection, solution architecture, assessing tradeoffs)

· Experience or knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), Azure PaaS services, Serverless Computing (Azure Functions, Logic Apps)
