Position : IOS Engineer
Location : Dallas, TX
Duration : Long Term Contract
Description:
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, improvement, and release of the iOS App. Participates in peer code reviews and contributes effectively within an agile setup with designers, product managers, and peer developers. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions. Provides mobile engineering support to the business. Troubleshoots business and production issues for mobile devices.
Minimum Education and Minimum Skills required:
-At least 5 years for mobile app development experience.
-Experience with mobile software development using Swift & Objective-C.
-Experience using distributed source code version control systems (Git/Github)
-Experience working within an agile development team
-Experience with Apple SDKs for iOS development Experience with software debugging techniques (debuggers, loggers, crash report tools)
-Experience with analysis of memory issues such as memory leaks using memory analyzers tools (Instruments)
-Experience with command line XCode build tools for Continuous Integration
-Experience in design patterns, MVC, data structures and algorithms.
-Experience in unit and integration testing Objective-C code.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
• Develop features on iOS.
• Validate functionality and write unit test.
• Troubleshoot the issue in QA/production.
• Participate in scrum ceremonies & other relevant meetings.
Update status to stack holders.
What is the makeup of the team?
Team consists of iOS Engineers, Android Engineers, Web Engineers, Middleware Engineers and Automation Engineers
Additional Job Details:
Good proficiency in Swift and iOS application architecture.
• Solid understanding of iOS UI framework, design principles, patterns and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders alike
• A desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging work environment
• Knowledge on supporting tools like Figma, Charles, Postman.
• Knowledge of Design patterns and SOLID principles is a plus.
• Experience in retail industry is a plus
