Responsibilities:

• Reviewing software requirement specifications, overseeing code reviews, and maintaining adherence to SDLC. Assisting in determining appropriate development environments & managing staff as appropriate.
• Working collaboratively with software and testing engineers to deliver reliable, mission critical software.

·        Instil best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on schedule.

·        Project management - prioritization, planning of projects and features.

·        Translate business requirements into technical solutions, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.

• Wide experience in hiring, developing, upskilling, and mentoring a strong team of engineers, designers etc.
• Participate in design, architecture, and code reviews across different software.
• Understand & enable which technology to use to solve a problem and how systems and applications can be put together for better output, efficiency & experience.
• Possess distinctive problem solving and analysis skills with impeccable business judgment.
• Use agile methodologies and latest development techniques to plan, execute and deliver product releases and get involved in product backlog and sprint planning.

·        Involved in pipeline prioritization, team workload, estimations.

·        Champion best practices in development, including continuous integration and deployment quality assurance, support, and error handling etc.

Skills

• Must have the knowledge and experience working with most of the following technologies: Java, Spring *, PHP, MVC, JavaScript frameworks and libraries, React, Microservices, SQL’s, Cache, CQRS/Event Sourcing, CI/CD, AWS/Azure etc.
• Hands-on software architecture experience preferred.
• Should have great knowledge of Agile Methodologies and Principles.
• Experience in design and implementation of database management system.
• Excellent communication and social skills.

·        Deep hands-on technical expertise in full-stack development.

·        Solid software development background including design patterns, data structures, development methodologies etc.

·        Software development experience in building web solutions, services, and highly scalable applications.

·        Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

• Proven expertise in building applications with robust architecture, design and development of scalable software’s and multi-tenant SaaS products, focusing on high scalability, availability, and extensibility.
• Experience with fully automated CI/CD pipeline, preferred.
