Purpose: · The purpose of this role is to deliver the Technology Audits, assist in the identification of Technology Risks and to test key Technology controls. · Internal Audit is the Third line of defence in ensuring the effectiveness of the organisation’s controls in detecting, preventing and correcting risk. Key Accountabilities: · Behave in line with Clients values. · Efficient delivery and documentation of quality audit workpapers, including walkthroughs, control identification, control design assessments and control operating effectiveness testing. · Provide timely feedback and coaching to colleagues to promote a performance and development culture. · Plan and project manage delivery of audits within agreed resource and time budgets. · Form effective working relationships with business contacts during audits so information can be gathered and facts verified, and escalate delivery problems where they cannot be directly solved. · Proactively manage risk; meet all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to Process and Procedures pertinent to role; and escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified. · Stay current with industry best practices, emerging threats and evolving architectural trends Experience · Proven experience within Audit or Risk Management / Assurance. · Experience working with Technology risks and controls. · Experience working with common enterprise technology platforms, applications and solutions. · Experience working in/with global banks is preferred. Qualification Requirements · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). · Preferred candidate will hold a current CISA/CISM/CISSP Essential capabilities · A deep understanding of IT risks and controls, particularly in DevSecOps principles, CI/CD pipelines (and the relevant tools e.g. Jenkins, GitLab, APIs and Microservices. · Your responsibilities may extend to architectural assessments, therefore knowledge of Technology Architecture best practices will be an added advantage · Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders across different levels of the organisation · Flexible and comfortable working in an agile, fast and constantly changing environment. Skills · Strong written and verbal communications skills · Strong IT risks and controls knowledge · Strong stakeholder engagements skills · Niche skills in DevSecOps, CI/CD, APIs, Microservices and Technology architecture will be highly regarded. · Excellent analytical and problem solving skills · Able to work both independently and collaboratively as a team
