Roles and Responsibilities
Business Development Strategy
1. Implementation, execution, pre bid planning, and identification of new business opportunities.
2. Carry out Business communications, presentations to Clients and Government Authorities, Technology partners and Consulting Firms.
3. Searching and finalizing new business associates.
4. Managing and supervising BD & Tender teams at HO
5. Co-ordination with management to finalize various business development strategies.
Pre-tendering activities
1. Visiting Clients Office, Govt. Departments and liaison with the Govt.
2. Official for Relationship building and Networking.
3. Complete Rates Analysis for tender for Highway, Metro, Transmission etc. projects.
4. Evaluation of Tendering Process, Pre-qualification criteria, PQ Compliance Technical and Financial PQ matching, Attending Pre-bid meeting, site visits and Technical due diligence. Suggesting changes in PQ to help match PQ.
5. Work with prospective Government, Pvt. agencies, consultants having good network to formulate favorable terms.
6. Work with Technical teams to develop the costing and estimation for pre bid estimation purpose.
Tendering-
Manage and coordinate the tender preparation, including collection of the information required to submit the tender
Reviews tenders documentation to understand key drivers to make the right strategy
Resolves complex technical, strategic and business issues arising from tenders
Produces first class tenders documentation for submission
Responsible for providing support to the procurement function throughout the tendering process including; preparing of materials for all tenders, proposals, qualifications and client presentations.
Other activities
1. Identify project risks by making site visits and seeking relevant information on DPR and project details.
2. Keeping record of upcoming projects, tracking new projects and developing Market Intelligence / competitive analysis.
3. Acquisition of existing assets with business interest, Technical and Financial Due diligence for asset under consideration, Site survey and primary due diligence.
4. Preparation of MIS and List of Pipeline Projects.
5. Identifying and employing third party agencies like consultants, survey agencies, laboratories and geo technical investment agencies etc. based on identified scope of work.
6. Vendor Development for Technical support and cost inputs during tendering stage and procurement support during post tender activities.
7. Preparing Bid variable, financial structure and analysis for Bid. Create proposal for Management Committee for approvals for Bidding.
8. Preparation of Scope matrix.
9. Effective Associate Stakeholder relationship management.
10. Maintaining the records of all type data.
11. Attend the meetings with various clients regarding projects.
12. Bid Management, Tender management.
