We are seeking a Phlebotomist specializing in Home Sample Collection for a Fixed-Term-Employment position based in Chennai. This role involves visiting patients for sample collection while ensuring courteous and professional interaction. Qualifications and Skills

DMLT, or B.Sc MLT

• Strong patient interaction skills to build trust and provide comfort during the sample collection process.
• Experienced in handling blood samples with precision to prevent contamination and ensure quality.
• Familiarity with medical terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of infection control procedures to maintain a sterile environment and safeguard patient health.
• Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accurate labeling and documentation of samples and patient information.
• Effective time management to meet scheduled appointments and optimize collection routes.
• Clear communication skills for both verbal and written interactions with patients and team members.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other samples from patients at their home or office locations as per scheduled appointments.
• Ensure complete and accurate labeling of all collected samples to prevent mix-ups and ensure traceability.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and professionalism during all interactions to uphold the company's reputation.
• Follow protocols for the safe and sanitary transport of samples to the designated laboratory facilities.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of visitations and sample collections for compliance and tracking purposes.
• Regularly update and communicate with the coordinating team on collections performed and any issues encountered.
• Assist patients with any queries or concerns related to the sampling process and provide reassurance when necessary.
• Continuously update knowledge on best practices and advancements in phlebotomy and diagnostic procedures.
