Responsibilities:

AWS Infrastructure Management:

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, ELB, and VPCs.
• Configure and monitor cloud resources for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Security & Compliance:

• Implement IAM policies, roles, and permissions to ensure secure access.
• Manage security groups, NACLs, and encryption (KMS, SSL/TLS).
• Maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks like HIPAA, GDPR, or SOC

Monitoring & Optimization:

• Set up monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, AWS Config, or third-party solutions.
• Optimize resource utilization and costs using tools like AWS Cost Explorer and Trusted Advisor.

Automation & Scripting:

• Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Develop scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell for maintenance tasks.

Networking:

• Configure and manage VPCs, subnets, NAT gateways, and VPNs.
• Set up DNS with Route 53 and implement networking solutions like Direct Connect.

Backup & Recovery:

• Implement disaster recovery solutions using AWS Backup, EBS snapshots, and S3 lifecycle policies.
• Manage backups and ensure business continuity.

Troubleshooting & Support:

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, applications, and integrations.
• Provide technical support to development teams for AWS-related tasks.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPN, ELB, Lambda, Route53 etc.).
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Proficiency in networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, firewalls, etc.).
• Familiarity with containerization (ECS, EKS, Docker) is a plus.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
