Job Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Overseas Education Counselor to join our vibrant team at EDGO International, located in both Cochin and Bangalore. This full-time position involves facilitating the study abroad experience for prospective students, ensuring they receive comprehensive support, guidance, and accurate information at every step of their journey. The ideal candidate should have proficiency in student visa processes, cross-cultural communication, and country-specific education policies.

Qualifications and Skills

• In-depth knowledge of student visa processes, including documentation, timelines, and compliance requirements (Mandatory skill).
• Strong cross-cultural communication abilities to effectively connect with a diverse range of students and stakeholders (Mandatory skill).
• Understanding of country-specific education policies to provide accurate and relevant information to students (Mandatory skill).
• Familiarity with higher education pathways and options, enabling students to make informed decisions about their study abroad goals.
• Proficiency in CRM software to manage student interactions and maintain organized records efficiently.
• Experience with IELTS/TOEFL guidance, assisting students in preparing for language proficiency tests effectively.
• Knowledge of Salesforce to streamline processes and enhance communication with prospective students.
• Strong presentation skills to deliver informative sessions and workshops to groups of students and parents.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive counseling services to students seeking to study abroad, from initial consultation to pre-departure guidance.
• Assist students with visa applications and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time.
• Conduct research on global education systems, university entry requirements, and scholarship opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with universities and educational institutions worldwide.
• Organize and conduct workshops, webinars, and presentations to educate students and parents about study abroad opportunities.
• Collaborate with Student Ambassadors to offer mentorship and cultural insights to students.
• Update and maintain student records in CRM tools to ensure smooth communication and follow-up.
• Monitor changes in immigration policies and provide timely updates and guidance to students.
