Job Title: Analyst Trainee: Private Equity Climate Fund

Job Nature: Full-time on-site in Gurgaon, India (at least 3 days a week in office – Sohna Road and balance 2 days a week work from home). Six (6) months contract. A permanent offer may be made at the end of the contract period depending on business dynamics, available vacancies and performance of the candidate.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Research on the climate investing landscape and the private equity sector
2. Develop and maintain frameworks related to ESG, climate investment and impact measurement
3. Stakeholder Management: Establish and nurture relationships with stakeholders to foster platform growth and coordinate various initiatives.
4. Refinement and maintenance of materials for stakeholders. E.g. Pitch decks, case studies, data room, sector landscape
5. Fundraising Support: Assist in fundraising activities by providing valuable insights and co-ordination with different entities.
6. Fund Formation: Collaborate on documentation and liaise with legal teams, advisors, and regulators during the fund formation process.
7. Initiative Ownership: Take ownership of associated initiatives aimed at supporting the fund's objectives.
8. Investments: Support transaction origination and investments from the fund

Requirements:

1. Sense of ownership
2. Corporate Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in MS Office suite.
3. Interest in climate change and finance: Interest in addressing climate change and sustainability through investment strategies.
4. Educational Background: Graduation or above in finance, economics, sustainability, or related fields.
5. Preferences: Experience in strategy, corporate development, program management, fund raising, investments etc.

Education: Completed graduation or above
