Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
2. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, including hardware, software, and network problems.
3. Manage user accounts, permissions, email, and anti-virus software.
4. Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity.
5. Plan and implement system upgrades, patches, and security updates.
6. Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and reliability.
7. Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, including training and documentation.
8. Collaborate with IT staff and vendors to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.
9. Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and policies.
10. Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security standards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, and VMware environments.
4. Experience with network protocols, routing, and switching.
5. Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery procedures.
6. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA) are a plus.
