Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Coimbatore. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance within the organization.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven accounting expertise with minimum 7 years of work experience in a similar role.
- Excellent cash management skills to optimize liquidity and fund management within the organization. (Mandatory skill)
- In-depth knowledge of account management practices, including ledger maintenance and financial reporting. (Mandatory skill)
- Strong ability to manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collections and relationship management. (Mandatory skill)
- Strong understanding of internal controls to prevent inaccuracies and conserve the company's assets.
- Solid experience in general accounting practices, including balance sheet management and financial statement preparation.
- Proficient in account reconciliation processes, ensuring all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are investigated and resolved.
- Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports and statements for upper management review.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the company's financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and risk analysis.
- Ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial statements with established guidelines and regulations.
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring all financial reporting is timely and accurate.
- Develop and implement efficient accounting procedures to improve accuracy and increase productivity.
- Conduct internal audits to assess financial operations and recommend any necessary improvements.
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure all financial documentation is complete and accurate.
- Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels to support financial planning.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial alignment and support corporate objectives.
