Job role:

• Procurement of Raw Material, Packing Materials & Base Oils.
• Domestic Purchase of chemicals, Additives Base oil from IOCL, BPCL, HPCL, LUBRIZOL, IAL etc. & Imports from reputed companies
•  Base oil dealing with Indian buyer & Local Importer.
•  Packing Materials from vendors Drums and Barrels HDPE / MS DRUMS.
• Debit/ Credit Note Follow-up.
• Floating enquiries to the suppliers for getting quotations for the materials
• New vendor developments,
• Reviewing and finalizing the prices
• Preparation of Bid Comparison
• Handling all purchase related documents & works.
• To ensure timely delivery of material as per specifications & plant requirements
• Coordination with QA for sample approvals
• Provides analysis to increase levels of service at reduced costs of material.
• Planning and coordination with Supply Chain / Production team for meeting business requirements
• Co-ordinate with Plants for physical material stock & GR 
• Interacting with vendors for material delivery, P.O. amendment & payments etc.

Qualification:

B.sc/M.sc/Chemical engineer/Petrochemical engineer/Any Graduate

Experience:

5-15yrs. /More than 5 years of chemical purchasing experience
