Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior QA Tester to join our team in Surat on a full-time basis. The candidate should have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in the field. The role involves ensuring the quality and functionality of our services by executing various testing processes. Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in manual testing with the ability to execute and evaluate test cases.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and best practices in the industry.
• Experience with bug tracking tools and issue resolution processes (Mandatory skill).
• Ability to conduct functional testing to ensure system functionalities align with requirements (Mandatory skill).
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and its practical application in projects.
• Experience with API testing to assess the interaction between software components.
• Familiarity with JIRA for project tracking and management of testing processes.
• Capability to perform regression testing for evaluating system changes and improvements.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans and test cases to ensure software quality.
• Collaborate with developers to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects in software applications.
• Monitor and track issues using bug tracking tools to ensure timely resolution and reporting.
• Conduct functional and regression testing to verify changes and new features in the system.
• Participate in requirement analysis to provide insights from a testing perspective.
• Maintain clear and concise documentation of all testing activities and results for future reference.
• Liaise with stakeholders to improve testing processes and project delivery results.
• Provide testing reports and quality metrics to management to track product quality over time.
