Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior PLC Engineer with strong expertise in industrial automation, PLC programming, SCADA/HMI development, and commissioning. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing PLC-based automation solutions for manufacturing and industrial projects while providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must possess a valid US B1 Visa and be willing to travel internationally for project execution.

Key Responsibilities

PLC Programming & Development

  • Design, develop, and modify PLC programs for industrial automation systems.
  • Develop automation logic using Siemens, Allen-Bradley (Rockwell), and Mitsubishi PLC platforms.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing PLC applications.
  • Develop custom automation software based on project requirements.

Automation Project Execution

  • Execute industrial automation projects from design to commissioning.
  • Install, configure, test, and commission PLC-based control systems.
  • Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
  • Ensure automation systems meet quality, safety, and operational standards.

SCADA / HMI Development

  • Design and configure SCADA and HMI applications.
  • Integrate PLCs with SCADA platforms for real-time monitoring and control.
  • Develop operator interfaces and production monitoring dashboards.

Electrical Design & Documentation

  • Prepare electrical schematics, control logic, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Maintain project documentation, installation reports, and change records.
  • Ensure documentation complies with engineering standards.

Troubleshooting & Technical Support

  • Diagnose and resolve PLC, SCADA, HMI, drives, and automation system issues.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support.
  • Improve machine reliability and reduce system downtime.

Client Interaction

  • Understand customer automation requirements.
  • Participate in technical discussions and project implementation.
  • Provide user training and post-installation support.

Team Collaboration

  • Coordinate with internal engineering teams.
  • Share technical knowledge and mentor junior engineers.
  • Report project progress and technical challenges regularly.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.
  • Strong experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley (Rockwell), or Mitsubishi PLCs.
  • Experience in SCADA and HMI development.
  • Exposure to manufacturing and industrial automation environments.
  • Knowledge of automation software, machine control systems, and commissioning activities.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and client-handling abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Mandatory Requirement

  • Valid US B1 Visa (Mandatory).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in manufacturing intelligence solutions.
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and Industrial IoT concepts.
  • Experience with production data acquisition and visualization.
  • Exposure to industrial communication networks and automation analytics.
