Position: Senior Scientist – Spatial Biology

Location: Hyderabad

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher with expertise in Spatial Biology to join our research team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background at the Ph.D. or Postdoctoral level in spatial biology, with proven experience in applying spatial biology techniques to study cancer immunology, tumor microenvironment (TME), and quantitative cell biology.

This position involves designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to advance our understanding of cancer biology and develop novel therapeutic strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, execute, and analyze experiments using spatial biology technologies (e.g., spatial transcriptomics, spatial proteomics, multiplexed imaging).
• Investigate the tumor microenvironment (TME) with emphasis on immune cell–tumor interactions and spatial heterogeneity.
• Apply quantitative cell biology approaches to understand cellular organization and signaling pathways in cancer biology.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including immunologists, molecular biologists, bioinformaticians, and clinical researchers.
• Contribute to the development of new methodologies, assays, and workflows in spatial biology.
• Present findings at internal meetings, conferences, and contribute to scientific publications.
• Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with research protocols, and contribute to grant/manuscript writing.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Ph.D. in Spatial Biology, Cancer Biology, Immunology, Cell Biology, or related field; postdoctoral research experience preferred.
• Strong expertise in spatial biology platforms (e.g., 10x Genomics Visium, Nanostring GeoMx, Akoya Biosciences, MIBI, CyTOF imaging, MERFISH, or similar).
• Proven track record in studying cancer immunology and tumor microenvironment.
• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals in relevant fields.
• Experience in quantitative biology, image analysis, and bioinformatics integration is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
