About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Hemato-Oncologist to join our world-class oncology team. The role involves the diagnosis, treatment, and management of blood cancers and hematological disorders, ensuring the highest standards of care while contributing to research, innovation, and teaching within the institution.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and manage patients with hematological malignancies (leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma) and non-malignant blood disorders (anemia, clotting/bleeding disorders, aplastic anemia, thalassemia, etc.).
  • Administer and supervise chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and bone marrow/stem cell transplantation.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, and transplant physicians for comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide expertise in managing blood cancers and advanced hematological conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Participate in bone marrow/stem cell transplant programs and post-transplant patient management.
  • Engage in clinical research, clinical trials, and academic teaching for residents and fellows.
  • Contribute to community initiatives on early detection, prevention, and awareness of blood-related disorders.
  • Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, ethical practices, and international treatment guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, treatment plans, and documentation.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • MD/DNB in General Medicine or Pediatrics followed by DM/DNB in Hematology / Hemato-Oncology from a recognized institution.
  • Fellowship in Bone Marrow/Stem Cell Transplantation (preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of post-specialization experience in a reputed tertiary care/super-specialty hospital.
  • Proven expertise in handling complex hematological malignancies and transplant cases independently.
