Job Title: Deputy General Manager – Finance

Location: Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi

Experience Required: 8+ years


Role Overview:

We are looking for an accomplished Deputy General Manager – Finance to oversee financial management, compliance, and strategic decision-making. The role involves managing end-to-end finance functions, including accounting, taxation, budgeting, treasury, and audits, while ensuring strong internal controls and business support for growth in the FMCG sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Finance & Accounts team and oversee day-to-day financial operations.
  • Manage accounting, financial reporting, audits, and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Oversee direct and indirect taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.) and ensure timely filings.
  • Drive annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Monitor working capital, cash flow, and treasury operations.
  • Partner with business leadership to provide financial insights for strategic decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, internal controls, and corporate governance.
  • Liaise with external auditors, banks, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
  • Implement process improvements for cost control and operational efficiency.
  • Manage risk assessment, internal audits, and financial due diligence activities.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and expansion projects from a financial perspective.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax laws, and corporate finance.
  • Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and cost management.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic FMCG environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
