Job Title: Deputy General Manager – Finance
Location: Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi
Experience Required: 8+ years
Role Overview:
We are looking for an accomplished Deputy General Manager – Finance to oversee financial management, compliance, and strategic decision-making. The role involves managing end-to-end finance functions, including accounting, taxation, budgeting, treasury, and audits, while ensuring strong internal controls and business support for growth in the FMCG sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Finance & Accounts team and oversee day-to-day financial operations.
- Manage accounting, financial reporting, audits, and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Oversee direct and indirect taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.) and ensure timely filings.
- Drive annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Monitor working capital, cash flow, and treasury operations.
- Partner with business leadership to provide financial insights for strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, internal controls, and corporate governance.
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
- Implement process improvements for cost control and operational efficiency.
- Manage risk assessment, internal audits, and financial due diligence activities.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and expansion projects from a financial perspective.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax laws, and corporate finance.
- Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and cost management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic FMCG environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
