Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Business Head – Cosmetics to lead and drive the overall growth of our cosmetics business. The role involves P&L ownership, brand strategy, sales expansion, retail operations, and new product development. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in the cosmetics, beauty, or FMCG industry with proven leadership in scaling brands, managing multi-channel sales, and building high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the P&L responsibility for the cosmetics business, ensuring sustainable revenue and profitability.
- Define and execute business strategy for growth across retail, e-commerce, and distribution channels.
- Lead sales, marketing, and retail operations for the cosmetics portfolio.
- Oversee new product development (NPD), packaging innovation, and portfolio expansion in line with market trends.
- Strengthen brand positioning through marketing campaigns, influencer tie-ups, and digital initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, modern trade, general trade, and e-commerce platforms.
- Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer insights to drive innovation and differentiation.
- Implement robust supply chain, inventory, and distribution strategies to ensure product availability.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for sales growth, market share, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing team across functions.
- Represent the cosmetics business at industry forums, partnerships, and strategic alliances.
Key Requirements:
- Graduate / MBA in Marketing, Business Management, or related field.
- 15 – 20 years of experience in cosmetics, beauty, FMCG, or retail industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record in business leadership, brand building, and sales expansion.
- Strong understanding of cosmetics market trends, consumer behavior, and regulatory landscape.
- Experience in managing multi-channel distribution (retail, online, B2B, D2C, and modern trade).
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Strong networking abilities and vendor management expertise.
