Experience Required: 10+ years
Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead business operations, drive sales growth, and ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives in the FMCG industry. The AGM will play a key role in managing teams, strengthening distributor/retail networks, and contributing to organizational growth by ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end business operations including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Distribution.
- Drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability targets.
- Build and manage strong trade, distributor, and retailer relationships.
- Lead annual business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze KPIs, and implement corrective measures.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to ensure high performance.
- Collaborate with leadership on brand-building, new product development, and market penetration strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory norms, and industry regulations.
- Implement process improvements for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
- Represent the organization in key external meetings, negotiations, and strategic partnerships.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of FMCG business models, supply chain, and retail dynamics.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
