Job Title: Assistant General Manager

Location: Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi

Experience Required: 10+ years


Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead business operations, drive sales growth, and ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives in the FMCG industry. The AGM will play a key role in managing teams, strengthening distributor/retail networks, and contributing to organizational growth by ensuring operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end business operations including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Distribution.
  • Drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability targets.
  • Build and manage strong trade, distributor, and retailer relationships.
  • Lead annual business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze KPIs, and implement corrective measures.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to ensure high performance.
  • Collaborate with leadership on brand-building, new product development, and market penetration strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory norms, and industry regulations.
  • Implement process improvements for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
  • Represent the organization in key external meetings, negotiations, and strategic partnerships.

  • Strong knowledge of FMCG business models, supply chain, and retail dynamics.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
