Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Solar Technician to join our team in Dehradun. This is a full-time position requiring 1 to 3 years of experience. The successful candidate will aid in the installation and maintenance of solar power systems, ensuring all operations align with safety protocols and quality standards while contributing to our mission of promoting renewable energy solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in photovoltaic systems installation (Mandatory skill).
• Skilled in electrical wiring and understanding schematics (Mandatory skill).
• Strong adherence to safety compliance and protocols (Mandatory skill).
• Capability in solar panel troubleshooting to identify and fix common issues effectively.
• Experience in inverter maintenance for optimal power conversion and efficiency.
• Knowledge of solar energy storage solutions, including batteries and other devices.
• Experience in using a multimeter for electrical testing and diagnostics of solar systems.
• Ability to monitor system performance and ensure maximum efficiency and functionality.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of solar power systems, ensuring adherence to design plans and specifications.
• Conduct regular maintenance and repair to ensure the systems' longevity and efficiency.
• Perform troubleshooting of solar panels and inverters to diagnose and resolve issues promptly.
• Observe safety protocols at all times to ensure the safety of self and team members.
• Maintain accurate records of installation details and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timelines and project goals are met.
• Educate and inform clients about system operations and basic troubleshooting procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest solar technologies and advancements to enhance service delivery.
