Responsibilities:

• Design and build applications for the Android platform

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features

• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Skills:

• Proficient with Kotlin, Java, Android Application framework development

and Room Database

• Experience with MVVM will be preferred although MVP is also fine.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end

services

• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards

• Understanding of Google’s design principles and interface guidelines

• Knowledge of uploading to Google Play Store

• Knack for benchmarking and optimization

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git

• Knowledge of Location APIs, Jetpack components, Unit testing, Retrofit

and design patterns is preferred
