Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a network of shippers and carriers to facilitate freight transportation.
• Identify and secure profitable freight opportunities by prospecting and building relationships with potential clients.
• Negotiate rates and terms of contracts with shippers and carriers.
• Coordinate and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Resolve any issues or delays that arise during transportation and communicate updates to all relevant parties.
• Provide exceptional customer service and act as the primary point of contact for clients and carriers.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize freight brokerage software and tools to manage shipments, track loads, and generate reports.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions, contracts, and customer interactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, sales, and accounting, to ensure smooth freight operations and timely payment processing.
