· Establish contact with various employment agencies to find suitable candidates for the IT job
· Formulate advertisements and notices to be put up in classified newspapers and websites
· Study the resumes and CVs that some in from applicants
· Screen through the resumes and shortlist candidates for interview
· If large number of applications are received, then plan and conduct telephonic interviews
· Make arrangements for the final interview
· Gauge the capabilities of candidates by keenly observing and perceiving various aspects of their personality and skills
· May have to travel in order to conduct interviews in other cities and attend job fairs
· Maintain strong links with employment agencies and other sources which can get them good candidates
· Formulating interview call, selection and rejection letters
· Ensure that details of all candidates are documented in an organized manner
· May have to organize and conduct seminars for prospective employees to educate them about resume writing, CV writing, facing interviews and work ethics
