Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated mid-level Shopify Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. The role is based in Surat, with opportunities to work from multiple locations including Mumbai, Navsari, Bardoli, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, and Pune. As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Shopify themes and functionalities in line with devx commerce's standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in Shopify Theme Development and customization, having experience creating tailored solutions on the Shopify platform.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with HTML/CSS to ensure responsive and visually appealing web design.
• Must have a deep understanding of JavaScript and React framework to build dynamic and interactive applications.
• Proven expertise in Liquid templating language for Shopify to facilitate smooth theme development and customization.
• Familiarity with REST APIs to integrate and optimize various third-party services within Shopify.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize established solutions.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms and passion for advancing technology solutions to enhance the client and user experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Shopify themes and custom functionalities to meet specific client requirements and project timelines.
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to ensure the implementation meets design specifications and performance criteria.
• Optimize existing codebases and enhance website functionality, ensuring seamless integration with Shopify's API ecosystem.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and conduct regular testing and audits to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Participate in project planning sessions, providing technical insights to improve workflow and deliverables.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new Shopify features and integration, proactively suggesting improvements as necessary.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use to streamline development efforts and enhance operational efficiency.
• Engage in continuous learning to keep abreast of industry trends and enhance your skills pertaining to e-commerce technology.
