Job Overview

As a Senior Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for the development, customization, and maintenance of Shopify-based e-commerce platforms. You will work closely with the design, marketing, and product teams to create exceptional online shopping experiences. This role requires a deep understanding of Shopify's platform, front-end and back-end development, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, performance-optimized solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Advanced proficiency with Shopify platform, Liquid templating language, and Shopify API.
• Strong experience with front-end web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
• Experience in back-end development using Node.js is a plus.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and custom app development.
• Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD, and agile development methodologies.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Shopify stores, including custom themes, apps, and integrations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Shopify store performance, ensuring a seamless user experience across devices.
• Implement custom features and third-party app integrations, with a focus on scalability and long-term maintainability.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers, fostering best practices and improving the development process.
• Work with version control tools (e.g., Git) and project management platforms (e.g., Jira).
• Stay up to date with the latest Shopify updates, technologies, and e-commerce trends to suggest improvements and enhancements.
• Perform QA testing and ensure cross-browser compatibility, load speed optimization, and responsive design.
