Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Site Supervisor to join our team at Deepa Bajaj Design Studio. This part-time, remote, freelance contract position is based in Washim. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of work experience. The Site Supervisor will oversee project sites, ensuring quality and functionality align with our design standards and client expectations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must possess proficiency in quality control to ensure all site modifications and constructions meet our stringent design standards (Mandatory skill).
• Excellent ability to read and interpret blueprints and design specifications for planning and executing interior projects effectively (Mandatory skill).
• Experience in interior design with a keen eye for both aesthetics and practical applications (Mandatory skill).
• Solid understanding of construction management to oversee and coordinate various project contributors and resources.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve any project-related issues swiftly and efficiently.
• Effective site management skills for coordinating tasks, ensuring safety, and maintaining work progress timelines.
• Demonstrated ability in time management to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines without compromising quality.
• Strong communication skills to liaison between clients, designers, and construction teams, ensuring seamless project execution.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee project site activities to ensure alignment with project goals and client expectations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality standards and address potential issues proactively.
• Coordinate with designers and stakeholders to interpret and execute project blueprints and design plans.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress, and any changes to the project plan.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards on all site activities.
• Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resource availability.
• Report site progress and findings regularly to management and propose solutions to potential challenges.
