Integration Engineer

 Title

o Integration Engineer

 Reports To

o Integration Engineers will report to the Integration Lead.

 Job Overview

o Integration Engineers will be responsible for participating in the design and implementation of the

enterprise integration systems. They will implement and maintain backend integration solutions and

deployments, and develop supporting software tools and platforms.

 Responsibilities and Duties

o Implements integration solutions between internal and external systems

o Develops new integration and data management platforms

o Drives innovation in integration platforms

 Skills and Competencies

o Understanding of data integration technologies including APIs, EDI, HL7, FHIR, XML, and other formats

and protocols

o Backend system software development

o Development and maintenance of messaging and integration platforms

o Understanding of relational and noSQL data platforms

 Requirements/Qualifications

o At least 10 years of software development with experience implementing APIs, servers, and tooling

o Experience with Python and C# .NET

o Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases, with the ability to write and debug complex queries

o Master's and/or Bachelor's in computer science, Information Technology, or any other related field or

equivalent relevant experience

o Nice to have - Experience with, and understanding of, healthcare data and integration technologies

including APIs, EDI, HL7, FHIR, XML, and other formats, protocols, and data streams

o Nice to have - Experience working with a wide variety of database systems such as PostgresSQL,

Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle DB, etc.
