Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Transplant Coordinator to join our team at Chennai Urology And Robotics Institute. As a Transplant Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of organ transplantation, including pre-transplant evaluation, transplant surgery coordination, post-transplant care, and patient education. This is a full-time position based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, and requires 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in transplant coordination or a similar role
  • Knowledge of organ transplantation process and protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with different stakeholders
  • Empathy and compassion towards patients and their families
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of organ transplantation process
  • Perform pre-transplant evaluation of potential transplant recipients
  • Collaborate with the transplant surgeon, medical team, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth coordination
  • Schedule and coordinate transplant surgeries and post-transplant care
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to organ transplantation
  • Provide education and support to transplant recipients and their families
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of transplant process and patient records
  • Participate in transplant team meetings and quality improvement initiatives
  • Stay updated with advances in organ transplantation and contribute to continuous learning and professional development
