Job Overview

Qualifications and Skills

• Steel fixer experience with strong abilities in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and technical drawings clearly. (Mandatory skill)
• Hands-on expertise performing all aspects of steel fixing, including cutting, bending, and assembling steel bars or mesh. (Mandatory skill)
• Steel fabricator experience for major infrastructure or building projects, ensuring all reinforcement meets specifications. (Mandatory skill)
• Knowledge of fitter jobs and proven capability to work on installation and alignment of steel components efficiently.
• Experience or familiarity with Dubai construction codes and safety standards to ensure compliance on-site.
• Prior work collaborating with CrazyHR International or similar reputable recruitment agencies is advantageous.
• Demonstrated skills in steel fixing, using appropriate hand and power tools for secure and accurate installations.
• Ability to work in a team environment, communicate clearly, and adhere to project deadlines effectively under supervision.
• Capable of using and maintaining steel fixing equipment and following all safety procedures to maintain a risk-free environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and execute instructions from technical drawings and building plans for steel fixing requirements.
• Cut, shape, and install rebars or steel mesh to reinforce concrete structures according to established specifications.
• Assemble and fix steel frameworks and reinforcements using appropriate hand and power tools in compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure the timely and efficient completion of site tasks.
• Inspect installed steel reinforcement for quality control, reporting issues and rectifying errors promptly.
• Ensure safety guidelines and best practices are rigorously followed during all steel fixing operations on-site.
• Support fitter jobs and assist in positioning and securing steel components or structures as needed on projects in Dubai.
• Maintain work area organization, ensuring tools and equipment are properly handled and stored after use.
