Job Description
- Advise on the adoption and selection of technologies related to web solutions.
- Influence and guide the direction of web-based solutions and improve the team's web knowledge.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English.
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of commercial programming experience with an emphasis on delivering web solutions.
- Expert understanding of Ruby on Rails and the Ruby programming language.
- Expert understanding of how to design and build websites and web-based applications, and a broad range of web technologies.
- Expert understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, etc.
- Experience with AWS services (variety of AWS services).
- Experience with containerization (Docker and Kubernetes).
- Expert understanding of Single Page Applications (SPA), especially React.js
- Experience working with UX designers and using tools such as Figma
Residency Requirements
- Remote contract work is available until the visa is ready.
- Visa sponsorship (after 6 months probationary period).
- 1 hour of 1-1 Japanese language lessons every week (for non-Japanese).
