OneStream Developer - Financial Services Sector

Location: Mumbai, India (Hybrid Setup)

We’re seeking a skilled OneStream Developer to join a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in Mumbai, India. This role is essential in supporting the financial management and compliance initiatives, working closely with teams across finance, technology, and capital planning to streamline financial forecasting and planning. As part of a dedicated Center of Excellence (CoE) for OneStream, this role will have a significant impact on financial processes and provide critical business insights across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain OneStream applications, mapping use case requirements to effectively meet business needs and optimize operations.
• Data and Process Management: Develop robust workflows, cube views, and transformation rules within OneStream, extending applications to other financial use cases as needed.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with senior management and a spectrum of global stakeholders to manage expectations, meet critical objectives, and deliver solutions.
• Testing and Deployment: Structure user acceptance testing, resolve issues, and coordinate with global technology teams to support deployment activities.
• Documentation and Training: Maintain detailed documentation of processes and operations in OneStream and organize training sessions for the finance team.

Required Skills and Experience:

• OneStream Development: 2-4 years of hands-on experience as a OneStream Developer, including skills in building metadata, creating business rules, workflows, and automation.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in VB.NET, SQL, C#, and Python to develop complex business rules and API integrations.
• Financial Industry Experience: Prior experience in banking, financial services, or the technology sector is a plus, especially in financial forecasting processes.
• System and Tool Familiarity: Experience with Hyperion ESSBASE, Oracle databases, and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean Startup, XP).
• Communication and Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline is required. A CA or MBA is also acceptable.
