Job Overview

The Warehouse Manager at Cotton Concepts is a mid-level, full-time position based in Karur. The role requires 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience in managing warehouse operations within the textile industry, focusing on both online and retail dispatches to ensure optimal inventory management and logistics coordination.

Qualifications and Skills

• Warehouse Operations (Mandatory skill): Proven ability to supervise all aspects of warehouse management from receiving to dispatch within a textile manufacturing environment.
• Online and retail dispatches (Mandatory skill): Expertise in handling dispatches for both online platforms and traditional retail partners, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.
• Textile Industry (Mandatory skill): Practical experience and understanding of textile product warehousing requirements and industry-specific compliance.
• Inventory Management: Demonstrated skills in managing, tracking, and optimizing inventory flows while maintaining high accuracy levels for stock counts.
• Logistics Coordination: Ability to interact with logistics providers to schedule, track, and optimize shipping and transportation activities.
• Team Leadership: Experience in leading, supervising, and training warehouse team members to maintain productivity and operational standards.
• Stock handling: Strong knowledge of safe and efficient methods for receiving, storing, and picking stock, especially for textile products.
• Online: Familiarity with digital tools, systems, or platforms used for managing warehouse operations, order processing, and dispatches for online customers.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily management of all warehouse operations, ensuring timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of home textile products.
• Build, train, and supervise a warehouse team, implementing workflow systems to optimize productivity and ensure high-quality output.
• Manage accurate inventory records, conducting periodic audits, and reconciling discrepancies to reduce shrinkage and maintain stock integrity.
• Coordinate and execute timely online and retail order dispatches, guaranteeing correct packaging and order fulfillment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and textile industry regulations for all warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with logistics partners for transportation planning, reducing delivery times and minimizing shipping costs.
• Utilize warehouse management software and digital tools to support efficient order tracking, reporting, and inventory management.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, implement improvements, and report metrics to senior management for continued process optimization.
