Job Overview

The MIS Executive at Cotton Concepts will play a key role in ensuring efficient management and analysis of organizational data related to textile operations. This full-time, mid-level position is based in Karur and focuses on preparing and analyzing essential management information system reports, supporting business decisions, and maintaining data integrity across multiple platforms.

Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in winsoft, including winsoft software handling, to manage data specific to textile processes and streamline MIS operations (Mandatory skill).
• Strong MIS report analysis abilities within the textile industry, ensuring accurate consolidation and interpretation of production and business data (Mandatory skill).
• Advanced knowledge and daily use of the vlookup Excel formula to efficiently manage and manipulate large data sets for reporting (Mandatory skill).
• Hands-on experience in data analysis, transforming raw business data into actionable insights that drive operational efficiency and strategic decisions.
• Proven skills in invoice data analysis, ensuring all transactional data is accurate, reconciled, and integrated within MIS processes.
• Experience working with ERP software systems, ensuring seamless data synchronization, report generation, and cross-departmental collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with various departments for gathering and validating required data for MIS processes.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with sensitive or confidential information while ensuring data accuracy and security at all times.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Compile, analyze, and present MIS reports related to production, sales, inventory, and finance, supporting leadership in decision-making and trend analysis.
• Utilize winsoft and advanced Excel formulas, especially vlookup, to manage and verify complex data from textile manufacturing operations.
• Monitor day-to-day data flows across ERP and other software systems, ensuring updated and accurate entries for all transactions and production activities.
• Collaborate closely with departments such as manufacturing, sales, and accounts to collect, validate, and reconcile data used for regular and ad hoc MIS reports.
• Analyze invoice data and reporting discrepancies to streamline billing processes and maintain clear audit trails for compliance purposes.
• Design and implement automated solutions for data reporting and visualization to enhance the efficiency and reliability of MIS outputs.
• Identify data integrity issues and initiate corrective actions to improve data quality and overall reporting standards.
• Maintain confidentiality of company data, ensure compliance with internal controls, and support periodic audits related to MIS functions.
